Couragion’s Computer Science Program

“It was a good way to get students re-energized about computer science. They were beaming with excitement the day we got them going on the app. It was fun to try a new learning style different than what they'd been used to in computer science class.

When students got a chance to get into Couragion and learn a little bit more about career fields that related to their courses that made it easier for them to choose their internships and find a good fit.”

The computer science program encompasses 8 curricular units within a flexible scope and sequence so that you can tailor the program to your needs. Detailed lesson plans outline objectives, outcomes, duration, required resources, and procedures.

Each unit takes 45 - 150 minutes to complete. The exact amount of time depends on your students’ ages and abilities and whether you leverage the suggested pre-readings and supplemental exercises. Optional student guides are available to facilitate student-centered STEM learning and self-directed pacing.

Accompanying professional learning experiences are available to complement Couragion’s computer science program. These experiences take the form of educator workshops, institutes, and web-based training.
